When Requested We Will Certify We Destroyed Your Data: Many people who recycle computers or laptops for their companies, require proof the data has been wiped. In most cases upon receiving recycled computers we will immediately remove the hard drives. After the hard drives are removed they are either securely wiped with DBAN or crushed, and destroyed. We will then e-mail the recycler that their data has been securely wiped, or their hard drives have been destroyed.

We Use Recycled Hard Drives In Our Refurbished Computers: When you recycle a computer laptop or Macbook at Seattle Electronics Recycling we will attempt to repair, and refurbish it so it can be re-used. In most computers we will install a new SSD hard drive. We will also install a second and or third hard drive for data storage. We use recycled hard drives in our refurbished computers.
