Please Reset Your Items Before Recycling: If you can please reset your tablets, and Surfaces, as well as iPads and iPhones before recycling. Make sure you remove and or wipe all your personal data. We can not easily wipe data from password protected recycled tablets, and iPads.
An iPad Can’t Be Reset Unless It Is Logged Into An iCloud Account: We recycle a lot of iPads, and we can not do anything with them. This is because they are iCloud protected, and we can’t reset them, or wipe the data without logging into the owner’s iCloud account. Please reset all iPads and iPhones before recycling them, and write the password on a note and attach it to the device. This way we can find it a new home someday.
